A welcoming primary school in Blackley is seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team. The school provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils across the classroom, helping to deliver engaging learning activities and providing targeted 1:1 and small group support where required.
Key responsibilities:
• Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils across the primary age range
• Supporting the delivery of engaging and inclusive learning activities
• Working closely with the class teacher to help pupils access the curriculum
• Supporting pupils with their academic, social and emotional development
• Helping to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
• Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
• Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to the class teacher
• Encouraging pupils to develop confidence, independence and positive relationships

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for a long-term role within a supportive primary school.
The successful applicant will:
• Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent qualification
• Have previous experience working within a primary school setting
• Have a patient, positive and nurturing approach
• Be confident supporting pupils both independently and as part of a wider classroom team
• Have strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Be reliable, proactive and adaptable
• Have the right to work in the UK and full-time availability
