We are recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to join a mainstream secondary school in Wandsworth from October 2026.
The school is looking for a confident and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to work across KS3 and KS4, supporting students who require additional help to access the curriculum and make progress.
This is a long-term position, ideal for an experienced LSA, Teaching Assistant or graduate looking to develop their career within secondary education.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support students across KS3 and KS4
- Provide 1:1 and small-group learning support
- Work alongside classroom teachers to help students access lessons
- Support pupils with SEN and additional learning needs
- Deliver targeted literacy, numeracy and academic interventions
- Encourage positive behaviour, engagement and independence
- Adapt learning materials where required
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching and SEN staff
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant or SEN TA is desirable
- Experience working with secondary-aged students
- Understanding of SEN and additional learning needs
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Confidence supporting pupils across different curriculum subjects
- A calm, patient and proactive approach
- Graduates considering teacher training or a career in education are encouraged to apply
