Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

- Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with franchise standards

- Accurately diagnose vehicle faults and report findings to the Service Manager regarding vehicle safety, reliability, and performance

- Ensure all work complies with health and safety procedures and quality standards

- Maintain a high standard of workmanship in a busy, professional workshop environment

- Support team objectives and work towards set targets

- Adhere to franchise-specific procedures and protocols

- Maintain and care for personal tools and ensure workshop cleanliness

- Assist with vehicle inspections, MOT testing (if qualified), and other technical responsibilities as required

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

- Qualification of at least IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

- One to two years' practical experience as a Vehicle Technician preferred

- Own set of tools essential

- UK driving licence with minimal points

- Strong team player with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction

- Motivated individual with the ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment

- Desirable: prior experience within a franchise-approved dealership

- Desirable: active MOT Smart Card
