Summary
Are you looking a role where no two days are the same? Are you looking to make a difference to someone’s life?
This lovely care home is looking experienced Care Assistants to work alongside the established team to assist in the support of elderly people with Residential and Dementia Care Needs. You will be working as part of their dynamic team, making sure their clients are well cared for in a dignified and empathetic manner. Dementia care experience would be advantageous but not essential.
Daily tasks will include:
• Attend to client’s activities of daily living ensuring that they are always well hydrated and comfortable.
• General Housekeeping duties such as laundry and cleaning client’s rooms.
• Observations of client’s conditions and reporting accordingly using the company’s reporting systems
• You must always comply with health and safety in a professional manner.
For this role, you must have;
- A least 3 months experience in an Elderly Care environment
- A DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service, if not we can perform a DBS on your behalf at a cost of £49.50
- Up to Date relevant mandatory training in Moving and Handling, Infection Control and Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and ideally the certificates to show for this or we can assist you to access online training platforms.
- Referenceable work history covering the past 2 years

This is an ongoing role for the successful candidates that has the potential to turn into a permanent role for the right person.
Shift times are:-
Days - 0700 to 1400
Afternoons 1400 – 2100
Nights 2100 – 0700.
There are weekday shifts available on request.
Rates of pay are £13.05 to £14.05 per hour depending on shift. You will also accrue up to 28 days paid holiday per year for time served.
