Summary

Cleaner required for Part time work in Thornton Heath, Greater London

Domestic cleaners required to work in private homes in Thornton Heath, Greater London (and other areas) carrying out general cleaning and other house cleaning duties. This is part-time up to around 16 hours a week, and often done while the homeowner is out of the house.

The range of tasks done by cleaners depends on what the homeowner wants. But they can include any of the following and maybe more:

dusting and polishing furniture

cleaning windows

vacuuming carpets

mopping floor tiles

ironing clothing

washing up pots and pans

For the role, you need:

To enjoy carrying out practical tasks.

To be reliable and hard-working.

Have knowledge of using household cleaning equipment and materials.

The ability to clean without being supervised.

To have great cleaning standards.

To work as part of a team with other cleaners, if required. Cleaners may be asked to do a one off blitz clean for a special occasion. For example, washing down paintwork and walls, clean out cupboards and shampoo carpets.

All cleaning products and materials shall be given by the client. Payment shall be made on the day of each clean.
