Are you an experienced Executive Assistant with a background supporting senior leaders within the charity sector? Do you have exceptional organisational skills, strong stakeholder management experience, and the ability to handle highly confidential information with professionalism and discretion?
We are currently recruiting for an Executive Assistant to join a well-established charity organisation on a 3-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working closely with senior leaders. The successful candidate will be based in London working on a hybrid working arrangement.
The Role
As Executive Assistant, you will provide dedicated support to the Chief People Officer and light touch support across the Senior Leadership Team. You will act as a key point of contact for queries, scheduling, and coordination. You will manage stakeholder relationships, prepare agendas, briefing papers and presentations, coordinate divisional events and projects, and oversee London office management activities. We are looking for a proactive and highly organised individual who can build strong relationships, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- To act as personal assistant to the Chief People Officer and occasionally members of the P&C Leadership Team; including being a first point of contact for queries and scheduling.
- Co-ordination for the division, including managing relationships with the leadership team, key internal stakeholders, agencies and external partners, to support strategy and goals.
- Production of formal and informal documents including agendas, actions, correspondence, briefing notes and PowerPoint presentations.
- Responsible for Office Management related tasks including but not limited to: Point of contact for building management.
- Oversight of H&S requirements in the office and meeting room, including acting as First Aid and managing emergency evacuations
- Management of office requirements including room and desk bookings, hosting guests and office supplies/equipment.
- Co-ordinates and ensures Health & Safety procedures are followed on site in the London office.

he ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or similar position supporting senior leaders, within the public sector.
- Demonstrable ability to support the Chief People Officer with a range of administrative and practical tasks, ensuring efficient operations.
- Exceptional organisational, planning, and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong minute-taking and document preparation abilities.
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive information with the utmost integrity.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build credibility with senior leaders and trustees.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
