We are looking for a proactive and adaptable individual to support the full employee lifecycle of international staff,ensuring smooth onboarding, deployment, and ongoing administrative supportwithin a fast-paced and purpose-driven environment.

The Role

As HR Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support across thefull employee lifecycle for international staff. Acting as a key point of contact, you will coordinate pre-departure and post-assignment activities, manage HR administration processes, maintain accurate employee records, and support recruitment and onboarding activities.

Working closely with HR colleagues, operational teams, international partners, and external providers, you will ensure all HR processes are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in line with organisational policies, GDPR requirements, and UK employment legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage administration across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, compliance checks, contracts, and payroll support.
  • Coordinate pre-departure and post-assignment activities, including visas, travel arrangements, and employee briefings.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential HR records, ensuring compliance with GDPR and organisational procedures.
  • Act as a first point of contact for employee and recruitment-related enquiries, providing timely and professional support.
  • Support recruitment and selection activities, including interview coordination and candidate administration.
  • Produce HR reports, statistics, and management information to support operational and departmental needs.
  • Contribute to HR projects and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of HR services.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Previous experience in an HR Administration, HR Coordinator, People Operations, or similar role.
  • A flexible, proactive, and collaborative approach, with experience in the charity, not-for-profit, humanitarian, or international HR sector being highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and complex administrative processes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience coordinating compliance activities including right to work checks, references, contracts, payroll administration, and employee onboarding.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships with employees, managers, external providers, and international partners.
  • Strong attention to detail, experience maintaining HR systems and databases, and a good understanding of GDPR and confidential data handling.
