Summary

Salary: NJC Grade H5 SCP 47-52 £60,971 - £66,794 per annum

Blackpool Adult Social Care is in the unique and privileged position of having available two Service Manager roles within the adults department. These roles form part of the Senior Leadership Team but also have a direct operational influence supporting different teams across adult social care. Blackpool Council is a Unitary Local Authority supporting a population of around 140,000. Our leadership and operational management structure is lean which supports effective and efficient decision making. As a Service Manager you will be in a position of being able to make a real difference, have autonomy to lead our social care response and support the departments’ ongoing improvement journey. This position is temporary until 31st March 2027 and can be offered as a secondment from an exisiting role subject to current line managers approval.
The Service Manager for Learning Disability and Autism represents a real opportunity to be part of shaping the direction of adult social care delivery.
