Are you an experienced Engineering Manager looking for an opportunity to lead a high-performing engineering function within a fast-paced manufacturing environment?

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to take ownership of our clients fast paced department at their Severnside manufacturing site. This is a key leadership position responsible for driving engineering excellence, operational performance, maintenance strategy and continuous improvement across a critical production area.

The Role

As Engineering Manager, you will lead the engineering team to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all plant, machinery and equipment within the Department.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading, coaching, and developing a team of engineering professionals

Creating and delivering maintenance strategies that maximise plant reliability and performance

Driving continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce downtime and control costs

Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, environmental and engineering standards

Managing engineering budgets, resources and capital projects

Supporting operational teams to deliver production targets and business objectives

Promoting a culture of innovation, accountability and engineering excellence

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Proven experience in an Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager, or similar leadership role within manufacturing

Strong people management, coaching and team development skills

Experience developing and implementing preventative maintenance strategies

A track record of improving equipment reliability and operational performance

Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management abilities

Passion for continuous improvement and delivering results through people
