Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the food and beverage outlets, including the restaurant, bar, and event facilities.
- Greet and speak to members, guests and colleagues in a friendly, welcoming and genuine way, creating a welcoming environment at all times.
- Supervise and motivate food and beverage staff to ensure excellent service delivery and adherence to company standards
- Assist in training new team members and provide ongoing coaching and support
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage and handling of food and beverages
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a professional and proactive manner
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue
- Maintain a current knowledge of menu items, specials and beverages in order you may provide an informed service to guests, and upsell where appropriate.
- Ensure front and back of house areas are kept clean, tidy and adhere to health & safety requirements.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a hotel or upscale restaurant setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
