Join Frimley Health’s friendly and supportive nursing team on our Gastro Ward at Frimley Park Hospital. We are recruiting 2 Staff Nurses for 12-month fixed-term contracts or secondments.

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced nurses seeking a new challenge and newly qualified nurses looking to develop their skills in a supportive environment.

Providing safe, effective and compassionate nursing care from admission through to discharge.

• Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent clinical outcomes and a positive patient experience.

• Supporting the delivery of established, standardised care pathways that enable the successful same-day discharge of the majority of day-case patients.

• Delivering pre-operative and post-operative care, including patient education and discharge planning.

• Contributing to the continued success of the Surgical Hub by maintaining high standards of communication and teamwork across departments.

• Ensuring accurate documentation using the Trust's Electronic Patient Record system and adhering to Trust policies, professional standards and best practice guidelines.

• Supporting a culture of continuous improvement, helping the team maintain the excellent levels of patient satisfaction reflected in regular Friends and Family Test feedback.

Working as part of a friendly and dedicated team, you will help ensure every patient receives the highest standard of care and enjoys the best possible surgical experience.
