The Opportunity
A growing business delivering domestic retrofit and energy efficiency projects is looking for an
Assistant Project Manager to support the coordination and delivery of multiple live retrofit projects.
Working alongside experienced Project Managers, you will help coordinate domestic retrofit installations from initial scheduling through to completion and sign-off.
The role will involve coordinating installers, subcontractors, materials and site resources while maintaining accurate project documentation and supporting quality and compliance across multiple properties.

Permanent position
Experience in project coordination or project management is required
Construction, retrofit or related trade experience is highly relevant
Domestic retrofit project experience will be considered
Experience coordinating multiple live projects is important
Strong organisational and communication skills are essential
Interest in energy efficiency, retrofit or sustainable technology is advantageous
Relevant construction, engineering, mechanical or project management qualification is desirable
Key Responsibilities
- Support planning and scheduling across a live pipeline of domestic retrofit projects
- Track project milestones and completion dates
- Maintain accurate project and scheme documentation
- Coordinate materials, equipment and deliveries
- Liaise with vendors, subcontractors and installers
- Support site inspections and quality checks
- Help ensure works meet required quality, compliance and safety standards
- Coordinate tools, materials and site resources across multiple properties
- Maintain project reports and records
- Attend project and team meetings
- Support improvements to project delivery processes
- Communicate with homeowners, contractors and relevant scheme bodies
- Help ensure projects progress efficiently from scheduling through to completion and sign-off
What We're Looking For
- Experience in project coordination, project management, construction or a related trade
- Domestic retrofit project experience is highly relevant
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Experience coordinating multiple jobs, sites or workstreams
- Experience with materials, logistics or contractor coordination
- Understanding of construction quality and safety processes
- Confident communication with customers, contractors and suppliers
- Comfortable using spreadsheets, scheduling systems or project management software
- Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accurate records
- Genuine interest in retrofit, energy efficiency or sustainable technology
