Are you a passionate Band 5 Occupational Therapist looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs?

A welcoming and supportive SEN Primary School in London is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join its multidisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified or early-career therapist looking to develop their skills within a specialist educational setting.

The Role

Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions for pupils with a range of needs, including Autism, Speech & Language difficulties, sensory processing needs, learning disabilities, and physical disabilities.

Develop and implement individual therapy programmes to support pupils' independence, participation, and wellbeing.

Work closely with teachers, support staff, parents, and external professionals to achieve positive outcomes.

Provide advice and training to school staff on therapeutic strategies and classroom adaptations.

Maintain accurate records, reports, and EHCP contributions in line with professional standards.

The Ideal Candidate

Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with HCPC.

Band 5 Occupational Therapist or newly qualified practitioner seeking experience in a specialist setting.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Passion for supporting children and young people with SEND.

Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
