Summary

Our Planned Works Electricians play a vital role in improving customers' homes through high-quality electrical upgrades, installations and refurbishment projects that make a lasting difference.

No two projects are the same. From full property rewires and consumer unit upgrades to electrical improvements as part of kitchen, bathroom and major refurbishment programmes, you'll help deliver investment works that improve safety, comfort and energy efficiency across our housing stock.

Your New Role

We're looking for a proactive and motivated Electrician to join our Planned Works Electrical Team.

You'll be supporting customers across the South region, covering Southampton, Bournemouth, Poole, Salisbury and the surrounding areas. From time to time, you may also be required to support projects in and around Guildford, Portsmouth and neighbouring locations as we continue to invest in our homes and communities.

Working as part of our Planned Works team, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical installations, upgrades, and testing across a range of improvement programmes. This could include full and partial rewires, consumer unit replacements, electrical upgrades associated with kitchen and bathroom refurbishments, and other investment projects designed to enhance our customers' homes.

You'll ensure all work is completed safely, compliantly and to a high standard, taking pride in delivering excellent workmanship and a positive customer experience. Working closely with colleagues, contractors and other trades, you'll contribute to the successful delivery of planned investment programmes while helping us achieve our commitment to providing great homes for our customers.

As an ambassador for Abri, you'll build positive relationships with customers and colleagues, demonstrating professionalism, respect and excellent service throughout every project.

What You'll Need

NVQ/AM2 (or equivalent)

2391 Testing & Inspection qualification (or equivalent)

Current 18th Edition qualification

Full UK driving licence

Experience within social housing, planned maintenance, property investment or refurbishment programmes would be advantageous. What's most important is your commitment to quality workmanship, safety and delivering excellent outcomes for our customers.
