Summary
We are seeking an experienced safeguarding professional from a statutory or specialist safeguarding background; for example, MASH, social care, Early Help, police safeguarding, NSPCC safeguarding, youth offending, or equivalent, to strengthen safeguarding practice, operational consistency and student support at Alleyn’s.
The postholder will be formally designated a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL) under the statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE), working alongside the pastoral team to uphold robust, consistent safeguarding practice throughout the School.
This is an on-site role at Alleyn’s School in Dulwich, South London, offered on a part time basis (4 days per week) or full time basis, term time only plus 4 weeks. This is a permanent role with an immediate start, subject to completion of safeguarding checks.
