36.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday – 5:00pm to 1:00am
We are seeking Hygiene Operatives to join our client situated in a village just 6 miles from Melton Mowbray, so own transport would be essential. This is a temporary ongoing role but there are opportunities for permanent work with them. If you are only available for temporary work or looking to maybe continue into something permanent please get in touch.
Hygiene is hugely important to their business so the shift will start at 5pm and finish at 1am because the factory has to stop so that they can get all the production areas clean and ready for the next shift.
Duties required for Hygiene operatives:
• Perform intensive high-level and industrial deep cleans.
• Clean and sanitize production lines, factory floors, walls, conveyor belts, and work surfaces.
• Clear and dispose of factory waste and packaging materials.
• Dilute and apply industrial cleaning chemicals safely.
What are we looking for?
• Experienced in food manufacturing (or a similar industry) is a big plus!
• Strong knowledge of allergen awareness, food safety, and Health & Safety practices
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable.
• Familiarity with HACCP and/or COSHH is a bonus.
• Physically fit - this role is physical and will consist of lifting, bending and carrying.
