Summary

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is looking for a talented, experienced, and enthusiastic Data Analyst to join the Corporate Business Intelligence team.

This role will lead on the delivery of the Trust's Corporate priorities including:

- Reporting on Trust Corporate performance internally and externally e.g. Staff & Patient non urgent transport, Fire Risk Assessment, PDR Compliance, Bed Location Tracking, Medical Device Training.

- Data quality and assurance of ICHT & third-party data feeds.

- Ad-hoc reporting and data insights to drive service improvement.

The role will be split between being based at the St Mary’s site in Paddington, with occasional meetings at other sites, and working from home.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an in-person interview and a technical test, expected to take place at the St Mary’s site in Paddington, shortly after the advert closes.

• The successful candidate will have strong technical skills (Excel, SQL and Qlik are essential, if Qlik Skills are not present then some form of Visualization skills should be present, Python Skills Desirable) as well as extensive NHS Estates and/or Patients knowledge and experience. They will use these skills to analyse, interpret and present complex data, supporting operational, performance and strategic decision-making across corporate services.

• The role requires a collaborative, proactive and flexible individual who can work independently and as part of a wider team. The post holder will maintain high standards of accuracy and quality whilst managing a varied workload, balancing competing priorities and consistently meeting deadlines. They will be expected to demonstrate excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills, taking ownership of tasks and using their initiative to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as the post holder will be required to build and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of corporate, operational and clinical managers.
