The Role

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll provide a high-quality repairs and maintenance service across occupied homes, void properties, and communal housing areas.This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll be carrying out general repairs, supporting planned improvement works, assisting with installations, and ensuring homes remain safe, functional, and well maintained for residents.

You'll work closely with operational teams while enjoying the autonomy to manage your own workload and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

What You'll Be Doing

Carrying out a wide range of general repairs within residential properties and communal areas.

Completing maintenance works in both occupied and void properties.

Assisting with installations including kitchens, bathrooms, boilers, and other planned works.

Performing basic cleaning, preparation, and remedial work where required.

Identifying and reporting potential maintenance issues before they escalate.

Supporting first-time fix objectives through effective planning and repair execution.

What Your Day Looks Like

Travelling between properties in your fully equipped company van.

Following a structured schedule of repairs and maintenance appointments.

Working independently and as part of a wider team.

Where You'll WorkYou'll be working across:

Occupied residential homes

Empty (void) properties

Communal areas within housing schemes

Properties occupied by vulnerable residents

Domestic housing stock throughout your local patch

What We're Looking ForEssential

Experience carrying out general property repairs and maintenance.

Strong multi-trade or handyperson skills.

Ability to manage a varied workload and work to deadlines.

Full UK Driving Licence.

Must be based within the PE postcode area due to the location of the housing stock.

Desirable

Experience working within social housing repairs and maintenance.

Experience supporting kitchen, bathroom, or boiler installations.

Knowledge of void property repairs and refurbishment works.

Experience working within customer-facing maintenance environments.
