Summary
Job Summary:
The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation in guest rooms and public areas. This role ensures guests receive a comfortable, hygienic, and welcoming environment during their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and service assigned guest rooms in line with hotel standards
Make beds, change linens, and replace used towels
Dust, polish, and vacuum rooms and corridors
Clean bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and floors
Replenish guest supplies such as toiletries, tea/coffee, and minibar items
Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor
Ensure all lost property is handled in line with company policy
Follow health and safety regulations at all times
Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment
Assist with deep cleaning tasks when required
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests
Skills & Requirements:
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (but not essential)
Strong attention to detail
Good time management and ability to work independently
Ability to work physically (lifting, bending, standing for long periods)
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
Basic communication skills
Ability to follow instructions and hotel procedures
