Summary
Provide specialist operational leadership for the Trusts security function, ensuring safe and secure environments for patients, staff and visitors. Conduct security risk assessments across all Trust premises and ensure appropriate mitigation measures are implemented. Support delivery of the Trusts Security Strategy and compliance with NHS Protect standards, CQC Fundamental Standards, Health & Safety at Work Act, and Violence Prevention and Reduction Standards. Coordinate security patrols, contractor performance, site inspections and escalation of risks where required. Conduct security risk assessments across all Trust premises. Lead operational response to securityrelated incidents including violence, theft, missing persons, criminal activity and unauthorised access. Support investigations through evidence gathering, CCTV review, witness statements and liaison with police and external agencies. Assist with major incident and emergency planning, ensuring security integration into Trust resilience arrangements
