Where will you be working?

We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.

This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll bring strong commercial acumen, excellent financial management skills, and the ability to lead and develop others within a fast-paced project environment. We'll need you to have proven experience in preparing tender and contract documentation, reviewing and overseeing subcontract arrangements, and ensuring commercial processes are delivered to a high standard.

You'll be confident in valuing completed works, managing project budgets, monitoring costs, and overseeing payment processes to maximise commercial performance. A strong understanding of financial reporting and cost control is essential, alongside experience producing and submitting accurate monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs).

In addition, you'll demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance, knowledge sharing, and professional development to help build a high-performing commercial team.

What you’ll bring

- Do you have proven experience in Quantity surveying with a stable employment history?

- Have you got good NEC experience?

- Do you have a degree in a relevant subject?

- Are you chartered or working towards Chartership? This is desirable.

- Do you have a valid UK driving licence?
