This is a day-shift opportunity offering a minimum of eight hours’ pay and weekly payment every Wednesday.About the companyThe employer is an established transport business based in the West Midlands, providing logistics and delivery services across the UK and Ireland. Its operations include the movement of ADR-regulated goods, supported by a network of depots and a dedicated transport team.Key responsibilities• Safely operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle on assigned routes• Transport packaged hazardous goods in line with ADR requirements• Complete vehicle checks before and after each journey• Secure loads correctly and report any defects or issues• Carry out deliveries and collections professionally and on time• Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records• Follow health and safety, transport and site procedures• Communicate effectively with transport teams, customers and site contactsSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 1 driving licence• Current ADR Packaged Goods qualification• Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience• Good understanding of vehicle safety and load security• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach• Ability to follow instructions and complete required paperwork• Good communication and time-management skillsBenefits• £18.50–£19.00 per hour• Day shifts• Minimum eight hours paid• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to become visible to local employersApply today.
