Summary

Financial Accountant/Analyst Team Leader - Immediate Start West Yorkshire

Your new companyI am currently supporting a leading organisation who are looking to hire an interim finance professional during a critical time. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the finance function during a period of operational change. You will be available immediately, ideally looking for an interim support position.

Your new roleWe are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant/Analyst Team Leader to join on an interim basis, providing immediate support across core finance operations and ensuring continuity during a busy period. This role will play a key part in maintaining financial control, reporting accuracy, and supporting senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Daily and monthly NH finance reporting review and approval

Daily bank and cash reconciliation control

Monthly balance sheet reconciliations

Month-end close and trial balance review

Payment control and approval routes

Refunds, reversals, returned cheques, suspense and unapplied payment oversight

Audit-ready evidence and review trails

Process improvement and control stabilisation

Line management 2 finance analysts

Supporting finance director as required

Key Requirements

Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)

Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar role

Strong background in management reporting and financial control

Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment, ideally within a shared service centre

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
