Summary

Wycliffe College are seeking a warm, caring and highly organised Matron to provide day-to-day care and pastoral support to pupils throughout the school day at their Prep School. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring pupils feel safe, supported and well cared for, responding sensitively to their individual health and wellbeing needs and working closely with colleagues and parents to create a nurturing school environment.The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children, a current first aid qualification and driving licence. They will be empathetic, calm under pressure, well organised and able to use your initiative, with excellent communication skills and a professional, discreet approach. A childcare qualification, understanding of safeguarding and knowledge of the needs of children up to 13 would be desirable. If you are passionate about providing exceptional pastoral care and creating a safe, nurturing environment in which every child can thrive, we want to hear from you.Terms of Appointment:This is a permanent position, offered on a part-time, part-year basis during our published term dates. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 12:15pm to 6.15pm and alternate Saturdays during term-time from 8am-1.30pm.
