What does the job involve?
We are looking for an additional PA/carer to join our team of PAs to support my son with his daily life activities. This includes personal care , domestic tasks, support with feeding and social activities ( art galleries, watching football, reading books, eye gaze computer games, staying in the garden .. ). The house is very well adapted and accessible as my son has a wheelchair
My son is 35 but looks like a young teenager. He is non verbal but can understand everything .
My son enjoys watching football , he is a Crystal Palace supporter. He also enjoys going to Art galleries and is a member of the Tate and British museum. He enjoys playing computer games with eye gaze and he enjoys people reading books to him
Hours / days: 18 hours a week – shifts of 6 hours including weekend
Pay rate: £13.00
The candidate should be trustworthy, very compassionate and respectful. They will need to have a professional work ethic with the highest regard to confidentiality.
Proof of entitlement to work in the UK will be required as well as checkable references .
An Enhanced Disclosure Barring Check (DBS) will also be needed for this position.
