Summary
The successful candidate will join a team of Consultant General Surgeons providing emergency and elective surgical services across Lincolnshire. The role includes: Delivery of high-quality emergency and elective general surgery services. Participation in outpatient clinics, theatre lists and ward rounds. Contribution to the Surgical Assessment Unit and ambulatory emergency surgery pathways. Participation in the Consultant Emergency General Surgery on-call rota (1:9). Supervision and training of undergraduate and postgraduate learners. Active involvement in clinical governance, audit, service development and quality improvement activities. Working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to support the delivery of safe, effective and patient-centred care
