A lovely nursery in Catford is looking for a confident and enthusiastic Room Leader to take responsibility for their Toddler Room.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practitioner who is passionate about providing high-quality care and education and enjoys creating an engaging, stimulating and nurturing environment where toddlers can learn, explore and develop.
About the role
As Toddler Room Leader, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the room, ensuring the children receive the highest standard of care and learning opportunities.
You will lead and support a team of practitioners, build strong relationships with children and families, and ensure the room provides a safe, positive and stimulating environment.
We're looking for someone who:
Holds a recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification
Has previous experience working with toddlers
Has experience in a Room Leader or senior practitioner role, or is ready to take that next step
Has a strong understanding of the EYFS
Is confident planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities
Can lead, motivate and support a team effectively
Builds positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
Is organised, reliable and confident in managing the day-to-day running of a room
Is passionate about children's learning, development and wellbeing
