Salary: Up to £34,000 (dependent on experience) plus benefits

Hours: 39 hours per week (Monday-Friday, no weekends or evenings)

Polyformes Ltd is looking for a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team.

The role involves deliveries and collections within an approximate 110-mile radius of our Leighton Buzzard site, with regular routes covering areas including Portsmouth, Southampton, Swindon, Norfolk and Birmingham.

This is predominantly a regional driving role, with drivers returning to our Leighton Buzzard site following completion of their scheduled deliveries and collections.

Working Hours

This is a full-time position working 39 hours per week and would suit an experienced driver who takes pride in their work and is committed to providing a safe, efficient and professional service.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out scheduled deliveries and collections safely and efficiently

- Ensure goods are loaded, secured and transported safely

- Load and unload goods where required

- Complete daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects promptly

- Ensure all delivery and collection paperwork is completed accurately

- Maintain good communication with the office and customers

- Represent Polyformes Ltd professionally when dealing with customers and suppliers

- Keep the vehicle clean, tidy and in good condition

- Comply with drivers' hours, tachograph regulations and all company Health & Safety procedures

- Assist with other reasonable duties when required

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will ideally have:

- A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence

- A valid Driver CPC

- A valid Digital Tachograph Card

- Previous Class 2 driving experience (ideally two years minimuim driving expeirence)

- A good understanding of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations

- A safe and responsible approach to driving

- Good communication and customer service skills

- Good timekeeping and reliability

- The ability to work independently and as part of a team

- A flexible and helpful approach to work
