Summary

The Governance Manager will support the delivery of effective governance, patient safety, risk management and quality improvement across the Division. Key responsibilities include coordinating incident management, complaints, risk registers, clinical audit programmes, governance reporting and regulatory compliance activities. The postholder will support the implementation of the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF), lead assigned investigations and learning reviews, monitor governance action plans, and provide expert advice to clinical and operational teams. Working closely with Divisional leaders, Medical Quality Leads, Matrons, Service Managers and the wider Governance Team, the postholder will identify themes and trends from governance data to drive continuous improvement and assurance. Core hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility required to meet service needs and attend occasional meetings outside standard working hours.
