You'll combine practical workplace experience with a Level 3 Digital Support Technician Apprenticeship, developing the skills, knowledge and confidence needed for a successful career in digital services.

Join DWP Digital as an Apprentice IT Service Manager and gain practical experience supporting live digital services that millions of people rely on every day.
You'll work alongside experienced Service Managers, learning how to monitor system performance, support incident resolution, contribute to change and problem management activities and help ensure our services remain reliable and effective for customers.
Depending on your placement, you could support services used by Child Maintenance Service customers and caseworkers or help underpin the digital payment services that deliver benefits and pensions to millions of people across the UK.
You'll receive dedicated study time, structured training, mentoring and ongoing support throughout your apprenticeship journey, helping you develop technical capability alongside valuable workplace experience.

Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you'll spend some time working at home (40%) and some time collaborating face to face in a hub (60%).
Pay: We offer competitive pay for this role of £32,137.
Pension: You'll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions of 28.97%, worth over £9,310 per year.
Holidays: A generous leave package starting at 24 days rising to 26 days after one year (rising to 31 days over time).
You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi-time. You'll also get all the usual public holidays.
