Salary: UofG Grade 4, £25,804 - £27,319 per annum, plus shift allowance.

This post is full time (35 hours per week) and open ended. Shifts are normally Monday to Friday however you will be required to work 1 weekend in 3 (3 hours on a Saturday and 3 hours on a Sunday, paid at the relevant enhanced rate). Your rota will be confirmed to you by your line manager.

There is a requirement to provide operational coverage 365 days per year on a rota basis and the successful candidate will be required to work on public holidays and also the “Other” days as designated.

The successful applicant will be subject to security checks by Agenda Screening Services.

This is a fantastic opportunity for new Animal Technician to join the University’s Estates Directorate.

In this role you will provide high-quality animal care and husbandry duties to ensure all animal needs are met and excellent standards of cleanliness within Biological Services facilities are maintained.

You will undertake routine data recording and provide routine technical assistance to research staff when required.
