A little about myself:
I am a teenage girl living in Swansea with a diagnosis of Autism, which impacts my daily living and the way I experience the world around me. I have a range of interests that are important to me and help support my wellbeing. These include riding my bike, going to the gym, and visiting charity and tip shops. I take pride in my appearance and enjoy activities such as applying make-up, organising my bedroom, and getting takeaway drinks in Starbucks where I feel comfortable.
I can present as quiet and reserved when I first meet new people, and building trust and confidence takes time. However, I can engage more openly in less direct settings, such as conversations while travelling in the car, where I feel more at ease. I would benefit from a personal assistant who is patient, understanding and able to build a positive, trusting relationship to support me accessing the community.
