A high‑performing secondary school in Waltham Forest is seeking a Physics‑specialist Science Technician to support the delivery of an ambitious, practical science curriculum. This is a full‑time, permanent role starting October 2026.

The Science Department

The Role
Working under the Senior Science Technician and Head of Physics, you will:
- Coordinate practical resources, equipment and lab facilities.
- Prepare materials and apparatus for Physics lessons and demonstrations.
- Support teachers and students during practical activities.
- Maintain safe working practices and accurate stock control.
- Assist across other science disciplines when required.
This role suits someone organised, proactive and confident working with Physics equipment and practical processes.
Requirements
- Experience in a Science Technician role, ideally with a Physics focus.
- Strong understanding of lab safety and practical procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a busy team.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
- Availability from October 2026.
Pay
£100-£115 per day DOE
