Job Purpose: Personal Assistant needed to support a young girl during school holidays only.I am a nine-year-old child who loves to go swimming and enjoys any form of messy play. I have limited communication skills but can communicate my basic needs.I can become very dysregulated at times and may hit out especially if I am in an environment where there are other children that are behaving loudly.I am a happy child who loves to be kept busy and get on with almost anyone.Location: Norwich, NR2Details: Support during school holidays only for play and activities in and out of the home.- Providing safe 1:1 supervision and support.- Taking the child to local activities, parks, and other suitable outings.- Supporting and encouraging child’s communication and independence.- Supporting with meals, snacks and drinks where required.- Engaging positively through play and activities.- Following routines and instructions provided by parent.- Maintaining safety and wellbeing.- Arriving punctually for agreed sessions and giving as much notice as possible if unable to attend.Person specification:Listed below are the skills, competencies and qualities that are essential and desirable for the post. Summary terms and conditions:· The rate of pay for this position is £12.89 per hour· Hours and times of work: 8 hours per week during school holidays, days and times will be discussed during the interview.· The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.· This position requires the employee to complete the following free annual training: GDPR, Health and Safety, Autism. Post is subject to the following:· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.· Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months.
