Summary
Lead a team of residential support workers in one of our small Gloucestershire homes. For an experienced senior, or a qualified care worker ready to step up into a supervisory role. £38,000 to £40,000. A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare is essential. Includes sleep-ins.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Therapeutic Care Worker, or a qualified Therapeutic Care Worker ready to progress into a supervisory role. This position offers an opportunity to make a lasting impact on young lives by providing compassionate, trauma-informed care within a stable and well-supported environment.
WHAT THE JOB IS
Lead the shift. Supervise and mentor a team of care workers through the day, upholding standards of care and safeguarding and being the person the team turns to when things get difficult.
Shape the care each young person gets. Help plan and deliver individual support plans, then make sure they actually happen day to day. Work closely with the management and therapeutic teams to get the approach right.
Develop the people around you. Guide and mentor less experienced colleagues, support their training and help them grow into the role. The team you build is the care the young people receive.
Keep the home running properly. Stay on top of documentation, recording and compliance, so the home is ready for Ofsted or CQC at any point.

WHAT WE OFFER
- £3,000 welcome bonus for new care staff, paid in three stages: £1,000 on commencing employment, £1,000 upon passing probation, and £1,000 when you reach 12 months' employment.

Staff who travel up to 10 miles to work receive an additional monthly payment of £20. Staff living between 11 and 20 miles from the workplace receive £40 per month, while staff who travel over 20 miles to get to work receive £50 per month.
- Annual Christmas holiday voucher draw. Staff who have been with the company for a minimum of 12 months are entered into a holiday voucher draw. There are 8 vouchers to be won, ranging in value from £1,000 to a whopping £5,000.
