About the Role
Tru Talent is recruiting an experienced
LCV Technician to join our client's team, covering
Heathrow and West London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced
LCV Technician, Van Technician or Mobile Technician who enjoys working independently and visiting different customer sites. You will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a range of
LCVs and vans.
The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and diagnostic skills, a professional approach and the ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a wider team.
The Role of the LCV Technician:
• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on LCVs and vans
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
• Attend customer sites across East, South and West London
• Carry out preventative maintenance and vehicle inspections
• Identify worn and faulty components in line with
DVSA standards
• Complete accurate service records, job cards and relevant paperwork
• Provide excellent customer service at all times
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and health & safety
• Support the workshop team when required
Requirements
Essential:
• Level 3 qualification in
LCV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance or equivalent
• Previous experience as an LCV Technician, Van Technician, Vehicle Technician or Mobile Technician
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
• Good understanding of vehicle servicing and maintenance
• Full UK driving licence
• Comfortable working independently and travelling between customer sites
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Good attention to detail and a professional approach
