Summary

Deliver specialist diagnostic assessments for children and young people with suspected neurodevelopmental conditions (Autism and ADHD) across Milton Keynes. Take detailed developmental case histories from parents and carers, administer tools such as the ADOS (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule), and contribute to multidisciplinary diagnostic decisions and feedback sessions. Build close working relationships with local educational staff, class teachers, SENDCOs, learning support assistants, educational/clinical psychologists, inclusive intervention teams, specialist teaching services, special needs officers, GPs, and paediatricians within Milton Keynes. Provide expert advice, recommendations, and structured support packages to local schools, nurseries, families, and partner agencies to ensure a coordinated pathway of support from diagnosis to school support. Maintain robust clinical governance, keeping comprehensive records on SystmOne and prioritizing the safeguarding of vulnerable children and young people under local Milton Keynes and London safeguarding procedures and frameworks. Supervise team members, therapy assistants, or students, and actively contribute to service development, audits, and Quality Improvement (QI) projects
