Summary

University Hospitals Dorset is looking to appoint a Senior Clinical Fellow in Shoulder Surgery. The 12 month fellowship is supervised by Mr Rob Moverley and Mr Senthil Muthian.

We are principally recruiting for fellows to commence inFeb 2027 but may consider applicants for future opportunities if deemed suitable at the point of interview.

The post will concentrate on elective Shoulder surgery. The post will allow the surgeon to develop a specialist interest in Shoulder surgery and applicants should have either completed or be about to complete their training in this area. The unit is involved in clinical research into joint replacement and the Fellow will be involved in this. There is no out of hours on call commitment.

Any other changes unrelated to this, will be handled in line with Trust/National terms and conditions.

As part of our commitment to delivering high-quality care across seven days, this post may involve participation in an out-of-hours rota, including evenings, weekends, and/or bank holidays,in accordance withservice needs. Any work undertaken outside standard hours/PA’s will attractremunerationin line with the respective NHS Medical and Dental Terms and Conditions of Service.
