Summary

Shop Supervisor

Location: Shop Address: Sue Ryder Charity shop, 12 Norfolk Street, King's Lynn, PE30 1AR

Hours : 17 hrs per week over 3-4 days including weekends on a rota basis

Salary: £12.79 per hour with competitive benefit package

Every sale in our 400+ shops helps fund specialist palliative and end-of-life care. For over 70 years, we’ve supported people when it matters most — and we’re looking for a Shop Supervisor to help us continue that work.

You’ll support your manager and team, inspire your community and help drive income for our vital services, while championing creative ways to reduce, reuse and recycle.

We value our people and offer a great work-life balance: 1 in 2 weekends, shifts from 8.45am, most shops finishing by 5.15pm, and Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day off.

Shop Information

In our spacious 3-2-1 shop, customers love to browse our shelves and rails for fabulous bargains. To keep up with demand we need to put a lot of items out on the shop floor. We are located in the centre of Kings Lynn, just a short walk from the local M&S.

Minimum Essential Criteria

• Customer Service Experience

• Previous supervisory Experience

• Cash Handling/Till work

• Basic IT skills (emails/instant messaging/video calls)

• Organisational Skills

• Lone working experience

Desirable Criteria

• High street retail/leisure/hospitality background

• KPI and target experience

• Charity retail

• Health & Safety knowledge

• Team Player

• Key holder/opening/closing

• Merchandising/Stock rotation
