Maintenance Manager

That's why we're looking for a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our Maintenance team, ensuring our parks, facilities, accommodation and grounds are maintained to the highest standards for every guest and holiday homeowner.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of all maintenance operations across the park. From planning workloads and managing projects to developing your team and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, you'll play a key role in shaping the guest experience and supporting the continued success of the park.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: Erigmore Holiday Park, Dunkeld, Perthshire, PH8 0BJ

As Maintenance Manager, you'll oversee all maintenance, grounds, facilities and infrastructure across the park, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a consistently high standard. Working closely with the General Manager, you'll manage a team of maintenance professionals, coordinate projects, oversee budgets and contractors, and ensure our parks remain attractive, functional and welcoming environments.

We're looking for a practical and organised leader with experience managing maintenance operations and teams. You'll be confident balancing strategic planning with hands-on involvement, leading by example and driving continuous improvement across the department.

Typical Responsibilities Include:

Leading and developing the Maintenance team to deliver high standards across the park

Planning, allocating and monitoring maintenance workloads, projects and park development works

Ensuring all grounds, buildings, holiday homes and facilities are maintained safely and efficiently

Managing team rotas, resources and staffing levels to support operational needs

Overseeing contractors, equipment and maintenance budgets to ensure value for money

Driving high standards of customer service for guests and holiday homeowners

Supporting recruitment, training, performance management and team development

Ensuring compliance with health & safety legislation, risk assessments and company procedures

Monitoring department performance and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement

Working closely with the General Manager to support the overall success and presentation of the park

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A clean, valid driving licence

Significant experience within a maintenance, facilities, grounds, construction or site management environment

Previous experience managing or supervising maintenance teams

Strong practical maintenance skills, ideally including property maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, landscaping or general building repairs

Experience managing maintenance projects and coordinating multiple priorities

Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail

Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills

A proactive and customer-focused approach with the ability to lead by example

Good commercial awareness and experience managing budgets or controlling departmental costs

A strong understanding of health and safety legislation, risk management and safe working practices

Experience within the holiday park, leisure, hospitality, accommodation or facilities management sector would be advantageous
