Summary

The postholder will carry out complex clinical assessments, develop evidence-based formulations and support decisions about diagnosis, treatment, management and discharge for children and young people with neurodevelopmental difficulties. They will supervise and support clinical staff, provide training across the children and young peoples pathway, and promote consistent use of agreed assessment tools, clinical processes and documentation standards. The postholder will contribute to the development and evaluation of service processes, including case management, governance, audit, quality improvement and digital ways of working. They will be expected to manage competing clinical, supervisory and operational demands while maintaining high professional standards and a reflective, evidence-based approach to care.
