South Devon College is looking for a Social Media Lead to take ownership of our social media presence and shape how we connect with prospective students, parents, employers, and our wider community. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our social strategy, create scroll-stopping content, build meaningful engagement, and ensure our channels have a consistent, authentic, and impactful voice.
What You'll Be Doing
• Owning and developing our social media strategy in line with our Find Your Edge brand.
• Creating engaging content across multiple platforms, including video, graphics, captions, stories, and campaigns.
• Managing content calendars, spotting trends, and identifying new opportunities to grow our reach.
• Collaborating with colleagues, student ambassadors, and curriculum teams to capture authentic College life.
• Building online communities through engaging and responsive communication.
• Managing paid social campaigns to support recruitment and brand objectives.
• Monitoring performance, analysing insights, and using data to drive continual improvement.
• Helping to protect and enhance the College's reputation across all social channels.
