Summary

General Cover Teacher (QTS) - Day-to-Day Supply - Castle Cary

Are you a qualified secondary teacher looking for total flexibility without taking work home? We are seeking reliable, dynamic General Cover Teachers to support a friendly, small secondary school in Castle Cary. This is a purely day-to-day role, giving you full control over your work-life balance-simply turn up, teach pre-planned lessons, and leave at the end of the school day.

Responsibilities

Classroom Delivery: Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students stay on task across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Zero Planning & Marking: All lesson resources and instructions are provided for you in advance, allowing you to focus entirely on teaching.

Subject Variety: Cover a range of subjects throughout the week in a close-knit, supportive school environment.

Adaptability: Maintain a positive learning environment while transitioning between different subject areas as required.

Qualifications

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS is essential.

Strong classroom management and adaptability across different subject areas.

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

Right to work in the UK.
