Summary

We are recruiting a Commercial Manager to join a Sequora-managed commercial capability pod supporting live delivery within Capita's Public Sector Commercial Deals Team. Working as the senior member of a two-person pod, you will take ownership of defined commercial work packages while helping to develop and support a less experienced practitioner through coaching, guidance and constructive feedback.

This role offers the opportunity to combine meaningful commercial delivery with capability development. You will work across areas such as bids, commercial governance, contracts, risk management, pricing assumptions, supplier activity and stakeholder coordination while helping another person build confidence, judgement and professional capability through real work.

You will be employed, line managed and supported by Sequora and will continue your own development through the Sequora Academy capability model.

You will:

Take ownership of defined commercial work packages.

Support bid readiness and commercial delivery activity.

Review commercial and contract documentation.

Identify commercial risks, assumptions and dependencies.

Prepare governance information and support approval readiness.

Review pricing assumptions and deliverability considerations.

Coordinate stakeholders and maintain delivery momentum.

Provide first-line quality assurance for work produced by the Core Practitioner.

Guide, support and develop a less experienced colleague through live work and feedback.

Escalate commercial, governance, pricing or supplier concerns appropriately.
