As part of a thriving federation with Pinewood Infant School, we offer exciting collaborative opportunities across all stages.The Federation is looking for a skilled and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team. This role will provide vital learning support for children across our schools, ensuring they enjoy, grow, and succeed throughout their educational journey with us. As a Federation employee, you will need to demonstrate flexibility across both school sites.This is a fixed-term position and a fantastic opportunity for someone who is driven by a love of learning, committed to excellence, and thrives on making a real difference.The successful candidate(s) will:Be trained to NVQ Level 3 standard for Teaching Assistants or hold an equivalent qualification in a relevant subject.Meet the Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Standards.Demonstrate excellent literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE Grades A*–C/9–4 in English and Maths, or equivalent).Implement learning activities based on a strong working knowledge of the national curriculum, using and adapting relevant strategies to meet each child's needs.Have at least 2 years' relevant experience in an educational environment.Possess well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders.Meet regularly with the Inclusion Manager, SENDCo, and Resourced Provision (RP) teachers to contribute to children's Individual Education/Learning Plans.If you:Have passion, enthusiasm, patience, and a positive outlook.Are motivated to support the learning and development of children with special educational needs.Can remain professionally discreet and respect confidentiality at all times.Think on your feet and use your initiative effectively....then we would love to hear from you!In return, we offer dedicated support for your professional development, a chance to work alongside our highly motivated, friendly staff, and the opportunity to support our fantastically hardworking children.
