Summary

We are seeking an individual experienced in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, they preferably should have FDSRCS or equivalence and or MFDSRCS. They should have previous experience in working as a middle grade or higher level in a busy District General Hospital setting in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, including independent operating & clinic sessions.A GDC full registration with previous oral & maxillofacial surgery experience is required to be considered for this post. A GMC Registration with a Licence to Practice is desirable. Candidates will share the responsibility of the day to day running of the unit, i.e. operating lists, waiting lists, clinics and supervision of junior staff. The majority of emergencies are seen and treated by the Staff Grades and the Associate Specialist with full consultant cover. Principal duties will be at Stoke Mandeville and Amersham Hospitals, but the Speciality Doctor may be required to carry out regular duties at other clinics.
