Summary
Teaching Assistant
We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join supportive school environments in north London.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people to achieve their full potential. You will work closely with teachers and other education professionals to provide pupils with the support they need both academically and socially.
Key responsibilities:
* Supporting pupils in the classroom and during learning activities
* Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required
* Helping pupils to engage with their learning and develop confidence
* Supporting pupils with additional learning needs, including SEN
* Assisting teachers with classroom activities and preparation
* Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging good social skills
* Supporting pupils during break and lunchtime when required
* Helping to create a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment
* Building positive relationships with pupils, teachers and other staff
* Following individual support plans and school policies
* Maintaining a professional and safeguarding-focused approach at all times
