Summary
We're looking for a Planner to join our Rail & Aviation team based in St. Neots.
Location: St. Neots, Hybrid Working, site basedHours: 42 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

What will you be responsible for?
As a Planner, you'll be working within the Rail & Aviation Planning team, supporting them in delivering robust project programmes and control documentation. The Planner within Kier Transportation is responsible for the programme and associated project control documentation for the projects they are working on. You'll be an integral part of the wider planning team, taking an active role in our quarterly planning forums with potential to join working groups developing solutions and helping stay ahead of the competition.
Your day to day will include:
-Producing contract programmes and period updates, ensuring compliance to NEC4 Contract Conditions
-Developing detailed programmes with the project team and leading weekly look ahead programme meetings
-Working with the commercial team to manage contract changes and provide regular progress updates
-Taking a proactive approach to mitigation, risk and opportunities
-Collaborating with commercial and project management teams to develop Risk programmes
What are we looking for?
This role of Planner is great for you if:
-You have relevant qualifications at degree level or equivalent experience
-You hold a valid CSCS Card related to role
-You have experience and understanding of construction processes, with an engineering background being an advantage
-You're comfortable with the Microsoft Office suite and have robust documentation and record keeping skills
-You have strong communication skills and a proactive, enthusiastic and collaborative approach
