Summary

Tribunal Hearing Centre Administrative Officer (Clerking Support) - Temp Contract

Location: London

If you're confident working with the public, thrive in a busy office environment, and take real pride in accuracy, this is a fantastic opportunity to support hearings from start to finish for a reputed client.

What you'll be doing:

* Welcome members of the public, legal representatives, and judicial panel members in person and by telephone

* Process correspondence in both manual and electronic formats, following current guidance

* Update appeals and hearing outcomes on the database accurately and in a timely way

* Support the day-to-day running of hearings-helping ensure matters are managed on time and in line with clerking guidance, including recording of the hearing

* Draft standard correspondence and respond to customer queries so people understand the hearing process

* Support listings and scheduling, including reacting to urgent matters and ensuring judicial time is used efficiently

* Maintain strong administration and data entry standards, including secure information handling and compliance with retention/data loss protocols

* Contribute to operational and health & safety activity, including issue logging and facility checks

* Use service scripts and knowledge articles to signpost users to appropriate support, including for users with complex needs

What you'll bring:

* Strong customer service skills, with confidence dealing with the general public, legal representatives, and Judiciary

* Excellent administrative capability and strong IT confidence-Microsoft Office, Excel and Teams

* Clear, professional communication-both written and verbal

* A calm, responsive approach when handling queries on the day, including managing potential escalation appropriately

* Accuracy and attention to detail, especially when updating records and producing documents

Additional information:

* Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm (fully office based)

* Pay: £13.36 per hour for 12 weeks, then £15.59

* Clearance: Basic DBS to be processed by Brook Street

* Assignment until 31/03/27, with the possibility of extension
