Location: Swindon
Pay: £16.81–£19.32 per hour + shift allowances
Hours: 40 hours per week

Days: Monday–Friday | 06:00–14:30 | £16.81 per hour
Lates: Monday–Friday | 14:00–22:00 | £16.81 per hour + £21.20 shift allowance
Nights: Tuesday–Friday | 21:00–07:00 | £19.32 per hour + £18.75 shift allowance
About the Role
Tru Talent is recruiting an experienced
HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Trailer Technician to join an award-winning commercial vehicle dealership in Swindon.

The Role of the HGV Technician:
• Service, maintain and repair HGVs, trailers and commercial vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
• Complete inspections and preventative maintenance
• Carry out repairs to DVSA and manufacturer standards
• Assist with breakdown repairs when required
• Complete job cards, warranty claims and workshop paperwork
• Maintain a safe and professional workshop environment
The Requirements
Essential:
• Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
• Previous HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Trailer Technician experience
• Experience with servicing, repairs and diagnostics
• Knowledge of DVSA standards
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Desirable:
• IRTEC accreditation
